There are two types of

please.

Avast
Installation
The second step would get
performed by itself; all you have to do is sit back and wait for the
installation process to wind up as the downloading bar progresses. The process
would take a few minutes but it depends on your internet connectivity.
3.
Avast Installation Finished
Click Continue to finish and as the installation
accomplishes you would have Avast protection for your computer.
The aforementioned steps are relevant for all Windows
versions.
Avast despite of being such a sturdy antivirus suite to its
customer’s delight, is often baffled by the questions regarding its pop-ups.
Avast has really advanced features and settings but the annoying pop-ups,
sounds, buzz and ads is the price we pay for it. Although, not many people know
that your favorite antivirus can be silenced. Here’s how!
1.
The first step would be to opt for the custom installation
process when you first install Avast, we would recommend choosing on the Custom
Installation process as Avast comes up with a number of ad-ons in the standard
process. By customizing the installation process you can manually select the
ad-ons you desire to have and would only have those in your suite after its
completion resulting in less pop-ups, less beeps.
2.
You may desire to hear a pop-up when malware is trying to
infest you machine but you are better off without the mellifluous Avast Lady
informing you about trivial details.
To mute Avast's voice notifications which
is highly recommended move to Settings > General > Sounds and untick the
"Use Voiceover Sounds" option box to replace Avast voiceovers with
your familiar ding sound.
To mute all sounds be it the ding,
beeps or voiceoversopen Settings > General > Sounds and uncheck
"Enable Avast Sounds."
3.
To turn off all notifications (those pop-ups and
messages)click on Settings > General and turn on Silent/Gaming Mode for a
pop-up free Avast experience.
